From the guys behind AnywhereCam:
We want to take a minute to tell you a little bit about the AnywhereCam mounting system and why it’s not just another product. In fact, our mounts embody everything that is important to us and the kind of company we want AnywhereCam to be.
We sell a lot of our cameras to farmers and ranchers, especially during the first few months of the year when it’s calving season in much of the ag world. Livestock owners use our cameras to keep an eye on their cattle when they’re delivering baby cows, and we love that. However, we get a lot of ranchers asking us “Can I cancel my cellular subscription once calving season is done and then reactivate it again the next year?”
Now, if we were most companies, we would say “Sure, but you need to pay us a cancellation fee when you want to shut your service down and then pay us a reactivation fee when you want to get it going again next year.”
We do not want to be like most other companies. We hate being charged BS fees, and we know our customers do too. So we thought about it and we said to ourselves, “It’s our job to provide a product that’s valuable to our customers. How do we make our cameras valuable to farmers and ranchers year-round?”
The answer was to make it easy to move the cameras around from one place to another. That’s when we came up with the AnywhereCam mounts.
Our young employees designed them in-house. They used their knowledge of computer-aided design and 3-D printing to prototype different versions of the mounts. Before long, we had multiple different styles of mounts that we worked on refining over the course of several months. We found that these mounts could be used in many different industries, in addition to agriculture.
Today, we’re manufacturing the mounts ourselves right here in Fort Morgan, CO. We could not be more proud of our employees for designing them and about the fact that they’re made in the USA.
The AnywhereCam mounts are about making our cameras as useful as possible for our customers, and about taking a stand against BS fees. We hope you find them useful!
